World famous surfing spot, The Pass, is a very popular break that can get overcrowded at times. Although it is a long and peeling wave it can be a busy and aggressive break that is not suited to beginners, but when it’s good, it’s really good. As well as being busy with swimmers, The Pass is also the launch for dive boats so it gets pretty crazy. If you’re not confident, then pay attention and be careful – the current can be strong and the busy crowd can mean it gets pretty aggressive at times. Parking is charged at $2/hour and toilets and showers are available.
