Located between Main Beach and The Pass, Clarkes beach is another popular spot for families and holiday makers. The location of a famous camping ground and café, this spot is patrolled during school holidays making it a safe place to take your children. The small cluster of rocks close to shore make for a hazard for surfers, but provide a good spot for snorkelling when the tide is low. With barbeque facilities, toilets, showers and paid parking, Clarkes is a great spot to spend a day and is only a short walk along the beachfront from the main town.
