If you are looking for an even more slow-paced break you may like to explore the surrounding towns and villages just outside Byron. Lennox Head to the south and Brunswick Heads to the north are both located close to the beach and facilities, while retaining their own unique communities and atmospheres. Further inland, Bangalow, Mullumbimby and the Hinterland towns are a short drive from the water, but are set in tranquil heritage village settings with more of a country feel.
